Common questions about Known By Name.

What is the Known By Name program?
Known By Name is a professional development program which measures how a person is experienced at work and then develops it. It combines the KBN Index (a 360 assessment), a workshop, one-to-one coaching and AI-powered practice across 12 to 16 weeks, and ends with a reassessment.
How is Known By Name different from DISC or Myers-Briggs?
Personality tools describe how you are wired. Known By Name describes how you land. It measures observable behaviour, the things colleagues notice, remember and repeat, and those behaviours are changeable. You finish knowing what to do differently, not only what type you are.
Who rates a participant, and do managers see the results?
Peers and decision makers, which means the leaders and clients whose opinion shapes the participant's opportunities, plus direct reports where relevant. Participants nominate their own raters and responses are confidential. Managers and sponsors do not receive individual reports. Participants decide what to share and when.
What outcomes should we expect?
For each participant: a clear, evidence-based picture of how they are experienced, a focused plan, stronger communication and credibility in the conversations which matter, and a measured before and after. For the organisation: people who show up with more clarity and consistency, and who chose to do the work because the results were theirs.
Is Known By Name only for people who are underperforming?
No. It is developmental, not remedial. Many participants are already strong performers who want to see their blind spots before those blind spots become a problem. Small shifts in how you show up produce large shifts in how you are trusted, remembered and chosen.
How long does it take and what is the time commitment per person?
The program runs 12 to 16 weeks. Each participant completes the KBN Index, attends a team debrief session, has a one-to-one coaching session, practises with AI role play in their own time, and repeats the benchmark and the Index at the end. Expect 4 to 8 hours in total across the program.
